I have read in books that it used to be that the Native Americans would rebuild stuff over and over.
It's an American thing about how many times have you done something.
In Russia they have a dumb sense of too many or too much.
It might be in America that there isn't a limit on how many times.
I have seen 'Casino' more times than there is a number.
It's about Italians moving from New York City to Nevada. My dad was born in New York City and I grew up in Austin because of his job.
Have you ever seen a movie a lot of times?

This is a true statement.
The Dutch are successful in networking in Eastern Europe. For example, there are Dutch territories in Romania. Peter I of Russia went to school in Amsterdam.
Also though, you wonder about any challenges the Irish have in this. They seem to want people to be faithful to their wives. It's a religion of having children and how the women have children.

I have a point I want to make about either school or work.
Somehow there is rhetoric or conversation at school or work. Maybe there are deadlines or tests. Maybe there are evaluations and exams. But, there are also coworkers and professors and students.
The point I am making is that, at the end of the semester, if you turn in a good paper. Then it doesn't matter what was said. You end the semester with a good grade and you have that on your transcript forever.
Alternatively, the end of the term can come and you don't have a good paper or you cannot pass the exam.
It's two different paths.
Both paths are arguing and discussion and emotions about the semester or the workplace.
One path, at the end you pass the exam.
The other, at the end you do not pass the exam.

At Catholic, there are always every semester complaints about somehow I emailed or the discussion board. Sometimes I go to office hours when I am not supposed to. Maybe I email too much or I freak out too much.
So far, I have a 3.7. I have gotten all A's, and maybe one B.

When I was little I liked GF 1 and Casino.

'Casino' is about Robert DeNiro in Las Vegas. He is an expert at sports gambling and then he moves to Las Vegas from New York City.
Kind of why it all falls apart is that he refuses to do a simple task someone asks him.
There is a man at the casino, and Robert DeNiro fires him. They asked him to give him the job back.
And when he does that, the locals rebel and the casino falls apart.

I have a friend named Alex Dotte from my high school. He graduated with a degree in computer science from UT-Austin. He immediately got a job working as a personal trainer in Austin. He builds, for example, websites for his personal training jobs but he completely switched careers. He didn't want to be a computer scientist for a living.

I am writing about the British intelligence service.
There is a phenomenon about popular culture.
Does Rosie think Jason Statham comes from a good family?
Does Coleen think Wayne Rooney comes from a good family?
Germans think the English don't come from good families.
Supposedly there is what is known as the Irish mob desk. It's as though they think it isn't prestigious to work for the British intelligence service. And so everyone feels bad.
I am saying that I am prestigious because of my formal education.
And they aren't prestigious.
It's just that they aren't prestigious and they act like where they work isn't prestigious.

I really like Colin Farrell and Jonathan Rhys Meyers.
Both of them are from Dublin, but Colin Farrell is from the suburbs.
When I was little in Texas, I would read about how one or the other of them would be in drug rehab. And they would have to delay the production of whatever show or movie they were in.

Mexican street gangs. It's famous that the women in the gangs have to have sex with the leader of the gangs. In retrospect, that is less evil than I thought. Because the Virginians don't want anyone having sex at all. It's a form of policing to neuter the electorate.

If people are beautiful, then they are less vulnerable to diseases and it's obvious to them who is sick.
It's some boogey man that a handsome man can have HIV. If he's a graduate student at UT-Austin and he is handsome, he probably doesn't.
Pregnancy. It just means that you have to either really be sure about a hormone method, or you should combine methods.
I think women shouldn't mind if a man uses a condom.
If men mind a lot using condoms then they are probably sick.

I end up just looking at these British guys who are covered in tattoos.

It's remarkable about how Texas can be a radical German state.
Pregnant women don't do very well there. They are really poor and they don't have many options. Paid childcare, etc. They just don't spend a lot of money on welfare for moms. Pregnant women are really really poor and they have hardly any work options. My sister and my niece, barely have a high school education. You cannot believe the German radical state of Texas in that.
I meet these British guys. They are covered in tattoos. But they kind of don't have sex ever. If they do it's with their own wife.
Texans have sex constantly. I don't have any tattoos.
I wouldn't get a tattoo.

I am writing about the Virginians. The Virginians are Prussian immigrants. They are strange about age. Right now I have a woman from Virginia who is my professor in library science. She is talking about the AASL which are education priorities for middle school and high school students.
I would have no idea what to write about those.
I'm from Austin, Texas. The engineering schools in Austin are so competitive.
I don't mind the ACRL information literacy standards which are for college libraries. Because it gets the college librarians out and interacting with the students in their classes. They tell the academic librarians to be more involved in the college courses.

Eliot went to Penn and then the Dutch business school in Rotterdam.
He could have studied finance and then he would have gotten a job working on Wall Street in New York City.
Instead he wanted to work in Hollywood in Los Angeles.
My dad and Eliot's dad. They both worked for the Texas state government. Eliot's dad was a researcher at UT-Austin. Both of them were in the office all day. Eliot's mom worked for the Austin city government. She was in the office all day.
Kind of neither Eliot or I can keep those kinds of hours.
My dad, for thirty years, worked 8-5 and then he had an evening job as a professor. They were prestigious jobs. But he would have spent every day all day in an office and then the other office.
Conceptually, if it is daytime can we work in an office every day?
I'm 38. I sleep all night. And all day I either want to be at the yoga studio or doing something else that is fun.
During daylight, what are we doing?
Neither of us want to be in an office when it's daylight.

The Roma are gypsies. In Russia there are Roma. When I saw them I would cross the street and I would make sure they saw me do that.

If there are two people.
One of them is alright just with his wife.
And the other isn't.
That is real xenophobia.

Someone can be covered in dirt, and he'll point at someone else and say dirty.

There is real xenophobia about some of this stuff in London about people's wives and how many kids everyone has.

Yesterday I was in Chevy Chase, DC which is near Bethesda, MD. There were these two men talking. I asked them if they spoke Russian and they said no. I learned they are from Croatia. I think they looked like German defense contractors. It means the Germans trade through Croatian ports.
Also, one theory is that all Slavic languages are the same language, but different dialects.
I think he was lying that he doesn't speak Russian. How does he know what I said?

I am writing about fitness theory.
I played soccer when I was young in Texas. Houston, Texas for example has gigantic soccer field complexes. Texas generally has very competitive soccer leagues.
When I got older I was a soccer coach briefly.
This is the argument.
It is about cooling down and heart rate.
I am in favor of complete calm and cold, in the middle of the workout.
Other people think it's dangerous for your muscles to get cold because that's how you get injured.
I am in favor of beginning very cold, warming, and then periodically real breaks to keep your heart rate low. I think that is how to lose weight and build long term endurance.
Other people get weird that your heart rate is supposed to stay high the whole time or your muscles are supposed to stay warm the whole time.
I think during the workout, your muscles should get cold and then get hot again.
That is stronger and more sustainable muscle growth.

This is a true story from my life. I graduated from UT-Austin and I moved to Los Angeles. My boyfriend got a job there working in Hollywood and we lived in West LA. The first thing I did was I went a got a prescription for diet pills and I walked around and everyone told me I looked so skinny that I was mentally ill. There is a Jeremy Renner movie where he talks about Skeletor walking into a bank with a Kalashnikov.
Tom Wilson #43 is a right winger for the Washington Capitals. He's from Toronto. He is about to get married to a woman named Taylor Pischke. She was a professional volleyball player and she is from Winnipeg which is out in the middle of nowhere central northern Canada.
With the money, Taylor is getting fat instead of thin. She is already really tall. And both Tom and Taylor seem to have gained 20 lbs in the past few years. They go out to dinner and drink wine with the money. Eliot would act embarrassed of me because I was so skinny.
It seems like it's embarrassing that Taylor is fat and tall.

The British and the Russians. If everyone has to talk about everyone's marital status.
When I was 23 I wanted to get married. My boyfriend had gone to the business school in Rotterdam. We broke up and I never got married and I never had any kids.
Alex Ovechkin, for example, had a lengthy relationship when he was young with a tennis player. They broke up.
And then he married this other woman.
It seems German because the men are getting married when they're too old. Alex should have either married his tennis player girlfriend when he was young, or he should have not gotten married at all.
It's German to get married when you're old.

The British get so they're all married. And in polite conversations. It becomes they can describe nakedness and genitals of married people. Because they're talking about everyone's kids. And you wonder what the man does for a living because this seems so strange at the house. The husband and wife stuff at the house, comes out in British polite conversation now.

When I was I guess 27 or so. I really dug in. I started to aggressively apply to jobs. Had I gone to school in Philadelphia or wherever there would have been so many jobs. From Austin, Texas, there weren't any jobs there, and so I had to apply to things far away. And I learned to keep trying until they either kick you out or officially tell you not to apply again. I guess maybe they hire locally so much that they are accustomed to saying no to people from out of state.

I have been to Tallinn. It's an eight hour bus ride from Saint Petersburg. The Estonians dress like elves and they drink apple cider.

I'm writing about growing up in Austin, Texas. My dad is Henry Welles, born New York City 1956. His dad was Sam Welles. Me, my mom, and my dad all went to UT. My dad went to the LBJ School which is the Texas graduate school of government. My mom and me have a BA from UT.

I think he does that because he is from New York and they have so much money that they think it's a nice thing to say other people go to good schools. But, it's like he says effectively that every school but UT is a good school.

For a living, my dad worked for the Texas state government and he, as he could, make the budget efficient for the hospital system in Texas. She was in management and so the building was efficiently run and the doctors were normal and everyone got good healthcare.
Here on the east coast there are even maniacal jobs as a librarian. What I am alright doing is working in academic libraries. But, I am studying digital libraries and so I can read Russian-language and Serbian-language texts online. At UT-Austin often the professors will get grants to translate Serbian or Albanian literature, for example. I believe that is an ethical use of my time.

Here in Washington, DC. Often I know people I work with. They will lose their jobs. They wear these French clothes. For example, maybe they will have two or three pairs of pants. And in the mornings they really cannot make it to work because they don't have enough clothes.
In my closet, I have a lot of jeans, thermal shirts, and clothes like that. I just throw them on and I leave for the day. I can always keep my jobs.

Alright. I'm 38 years old.
I always pay my rent on time. I don't have any outstanding bills. All of my finances are in good standing. I read my mail every day. I check my voicemail on my phone every day. There aren't any bill collectors calling me. I am in good standing at work. I am rarely late to work. I rarely miss work for any reason. I am doing fine in school. I don't have any problems with my landlord. I go to bed early and I exercise.
I have developed kind of rubrics for my own mental health.

I got four teeth pulled a few years ago. Two of them were wisdom teeth. The other two teeth I got dental implants. I now have perfect teeth and I go get my teeth cleaned every 6 months. I never have any cavities.
Alex Ovechkin is missing at least one of his front upper teeth. It seems like he thinks that's alright. But I think he weirdly doesn't want to get the dental work he needs. He's 36. Maybe he is too lazy to get his teeth fixed.
